Dr. Maryam Nazemzadeh, AKA Dr. Naz, is a board-certified oculofacial plastic surgeon that owns and runs The Naz Experience - a boutique cosmetic and reconstructive eye surgery, facial plastic surgery, aesthetic laser, and cosmetic injectables practice in Tysons, VA.

Dr. Naz is one of approximately 750 ASOPRS surgeons in the world that have trained 4 years as interns and residents in ophthalmology, completed fellowship training in aesthetic and reconstructive procedures of the eyelids, eye sockets, tear ducts and face, and conducted scientific research and passed rigorous oral and written examinations. She is also 1 of approximately 20 surgeons in the world with both pediatric and adult oculofacial plastic surgery training.

Dr. Naz graduated at the top 2% of her class at The George Washington University, where she majored in Spanish Language and Literature. She went on to obtain a medical degree at The George Washington University School of Medicine, where she graduated among the top of her class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society.

She completed her residency in Ophthalmology at The George Washington University where she served as the chief resident during her last year. After finishing her residency, Dr. Naz completed a highly competitive and sought-after 2-year fellowship in cosmetic and reconstructive oculofacial plastic surgery from the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The University of Pennsylvania and The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
