Asian Upper Eyelid Blepharoplasty

ASIAN UPPER EYELID BLEPHAROPLASTY ::: Arguably one of the most difficult cosmetic areas to master…the Asian upper eyelid. This is an entirely different technique altogether compared to a non-Asian upper eyelid. It requires tissue debulking, establishment of a secure lid crease, and congruence with the epicanthal fold (if present) with or without an epicanthoplasty.

This patient did not want a drastic change and wanted to maintain her cultural beauty (music to my ears). In this patient, not only did we do the above steps, but we ensured that her lid creases were symmetric and appropriate for the desired and planned result.
