Right upper eyelid retraction repair & revision blepharoplasty with removal of bilateral upper eyelid scarring

This patient had bilateral upper eyelid blepharoplasty and a ptosis (droopy eyelid) repair that was overdone by an outside surgeon. Her right upper eyelid was retracted (or higher) relative to her left upper eyelid and she had residual scarring that she was unhappy with….

I surgically lowered her right upper eyelid and cleaned up the upper eyelids and scarring to give her the aesthetic result she had asked for initially.

Revision surgeries make up a large portion of my practice. These cases are challenging, but being able to restore functionality and cosmesis in these cases is one of the most gratifying feelings as a surgeon.
